Artist's Description
John wanted to do something whimsical for Christmas 2022, so he created this scene of Santa asleep in his recliner by the fireplace. Checking the list of who's naughty and nice is hard work and eating cookies wiped Santa out. Who is a cookie thief in this drawing is anyone's guess, but my bet is on the elf? Although even the reindeer are suspects.
About John Wiegand
My name is John Wiegand and I am a Fine Artist who specializes in meticulous colored pencil drawings. I got my start in high school with my first colored pencil drawing named, The Bunk, which was entered in the Kiski Valley Artists Guild in 1982 and won a 2nd place ribbon from that show. Since then, I have honed my craft and my work is very unique and full of vibrant colors. My drawings take up to 200 hours to complete. I use Prismacolor Colored Pencils to draw with because the lead is soft and the colors are intense. The colors are so striking that people often think I used pastels in my work.
